This guide is designed to familiarize you with our services and merchandise which normally compose different types of funeral arrangements.
Keep in mind that a funeral is a meaningful event and one that, properly planned, can help ease the pain of separation which naturally accompanies death.
It is a time of sharing good memories and experiences with friends and family. Our professional staff can assist you in coordinating all the details and will explain all of the options.
We know that many times death comes at a time when the survivors are least prepared financially. We solicit your frankness in these matters and assure you that it is our policy to assist in any way possible.
We wish to express our sincere desire to be of service to you. If you have any further questions, or if we can be of help in any way, please do not hesitate to ask.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If any legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

There are many reasons that preplanning is not only beneficial to you but also to your whole family. Planning your services in advance of need provides peace of mind. Get your plans in order so your loved ones don't have to.
At the time of a family loss, your attention should be paid to the emotional needs of family and loved ones... not to the numerous details of arranging a funeral service.
We offer a complete selection of pre-arrangement programs to suit your personal, religious, financial and family needs.
Pre-arrangement offers you more than just the peace of mind of knowing your wishes will be met and that your family does not have to bear the financial burden of funeral costs.
How do you prepay for a funeral?
You may select one of two ways to prepay for a funeral:
Traditional Certificate of Deposit at a financial institution set as a trust. We can set this up at the funeral home, contact us if you are interested.
Pre-funding funerals is a growing trend in America because of the peace of mind that comes from having one's affairs in order. Funding those arrangements with insurance coverage or a trust are the two ways we handle pre-funding. Pre-funding life insurance can be handled at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services by Jim Kinnard and Tim Kinnard who are licensed insurance agents as well as funeral directors.
Your funding is backed by a national industry leader for many years providing preneed insurance with hundreds of thousands of policies in force. They consistently earn high marks for financial stability from the top financial ratings companies in the country.
Our plan provides life insurance benefits that are exempt from federal income tax when paid to a named beneficiary. Neither the increasing value of the coverage nor the total benefits paid at the time of death are federal income taxable.
Planning in advance provides peace of mind. The death of a loved one is a time of great loss and advance planning can reduce stress for your family with the knowledge that your preplan has been completed. This allows your loved ones to devote more time to coping and understanding the loss and less time concerned with funeral arrangements and financial details.
Our staff will meet with you to explain your options for services, assist you with the selection of the necessary merchandise and help you make the arrangements that are right for you. Merchandise selection during your pre-planning helps ensure that you do not exceed what you want to pay.
