William (Bill) Draeb, age 79 of Kewaunee died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 after a lingering illness. He was born on July 22, 1940 in Kewaunee to the late Thomas and Helen (Zielinski) Draeb.
He graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1958 and later graduated from U. W. Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science degree. For several years he had his own business in TV sales and repairs. He was also a substitute teacher in a number of area schools.
Bill was an active member of Holy Rosary Parish and a long time member of the parish choirs as well as the funeral choirs of the surrounding area churches. He was a Ham Radio Operator and a Severe Storm Spotter for Kewaunee County E. R. He was recognized by F.E.M.A. for serving in times of crises.
Survivors include two sisters: Pat Herber, Kewaunee; Betty (Steve) File, Milwaukee; Nieces: Barbara Ayres; Andrea Lewis; Angela File; Nephew: Tom Herber; six great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23 at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. James Dillenburg. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
