Vickie Clare (Van Camp) Crocker

April 4, 1948 — May 22, 2021

Vickie Clare Crocker, age 73, of Kewaunee died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at home.  She was born on April 4, 1948 in Two Rivers to the late Bernard and Jeanette (Hoffman) Van Camp.

Vickie graduated from West High School with high honors, attended UW-Oshkosh, and received an associate degree in the accounting program from N.W.T.C.  She worked as a General Merchandise and Reset Specialist for Super Valu Stores, Inc. for most of her career.

She married Phil Crocker on January 22, 1997 in Duxbury, MA. and they lived in New York for a decade. During that time they undertook a complete inside/outside renovation of an older home themselves, and were rewarded with a prestigious Historic Preservation Award from the Rhinebeck, NY Historical Society.

In 2007 they moved to Wisconsin, where their home, which Vickie designed, decorated and furnished, was built in the Town of Carlton on the shore of Lake Michigan.

Vickie was incredibly creative and skillful in art, architecture, landscaping, and so much more. She incorporated her love of nature, color, fabric, antiques and glasswork into her myriad creations.

Survivors include her husband, Phil; two daughters from a previous marriage: Abbey Box (Jitendra Suman), Leah Frost (Chris); and Step-Son Gabriel Crocker(Lynne); one sister: Renee (Bill) Brock; and five grandchildren: Grayson, Gloria, Gigi, Ian, and Hazel Mae.

At her request, there will be a private celebration of her life with immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to your favorite Charity.
