Thomas Schuller, 73, of Kewaunee Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Sunday September 24, 2023. He was born July 20, 1950, in Kewaunee, Wisconsin, the son of Leo and Mildred (Paphlam) Schuller. He was a graduate of Kewaunee High School. He retired from Kewaunee Fabrications in 2016. Tom was passionate about preserving the history of his community and served for many years as the President of the Kewaunee County Historical Society and curator of the Kewaunee Jail Museum. He was a member of the Lighthouse Preservation Committee, a member of the Marquette Historic District and a member of the City of Kewaunee Historic Preservation Commission. Tom was also an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Walter, William, and Maryann. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bonnie; daughter Bobbi, Kewaunee, son Darin (wife Janel) of Ledgeview and two grandsons, Brayden Jeanquart and Walter Thomas Palmer III. He is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Saturday, September 30, from 10 am to Noon at the Kewaunee County Historical Society History Center located at 217 Ellis Street in Kewaunee. The family requests donations be made in his name to the Kewaunee County Historical Society.
Tom was a kind, compassionate man and we will miss his loving presence in our lives. The family thanks the staff of Aurora BayCare Medical center for exemplary care during his final days.
