Thomas M. Saulig , 64, of Algoma, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Tom was born June 26, 1958, to the late Richard and Marion (Leonard) Saulig. He married Cathy (Kline) Zokan-Saulig on November 3, 2005, in Fond du Lac. His first wife and mother of his two sons Nancy preceded him in death in 2002.
Tom most enjoyed life when spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was best known for his loving kindness and gentleness. Everyone he met felt that he cared for them deeply and truly felt heard by him, as he was an amazing listener.
Along with Cathy, he loved riding motorcycles, listening to music (Pink Floyd, Queen, Fleetwood Mac), and was a passionate Packers fan. Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Algoma for several years.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; children, Nick Saulig, Brian (Andrea) Saulig, Tara (Scott) Blaesing, Jacqueline Zokan, and Dr. Lauren Zokan (Marcus Carli); grandchildren, Kavon and Kamren Zokan, Kamira and Kaprice Townsend, Noel, Banjamin, Imogene, Alexander, Josephine, and Rory Blaesing; sisters, Kathy (John) Eldridge, Kim Saulig, Debra (Dave) Koch; as well as by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy; parents, Richard & Marion Saulig; sister, Sue Sherman; Yolanda "Auntie Yo" Saulig; and in-laws.
