Steven Stodola

Steven "Skizzy" John Stodola, passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 67. Steven was born on June 5, 1957, in Kewaunee, WI to the late J. Edwin and Dorothy (Lesperance) Stodola. Skizzy was a graduate of Kewaunee High School. After graduation he worked for Kewaunee Bottling and then Algoma Hardwoods until his retirement. Together with his father he owned and operated the car wash on Marquette Drive for many years. He was known for his generosity and outgoing nature. Throughout his life, Skizzy was a night owl and found joy in simple pleasures, like spending evenings with friends at local bars and sharing his cheese curds with whoever he met. His kind spirit and willingness to help others, giving the shirt off of his back, even if he had no other shirt for himself. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Skizzy is survived by his siblings, Thomas (Jeanette) Stodola, Algoma, Jean (Otto) Robinson Jr., Kewaunee, Daniel (Yvonne) Stodola, Manitowoc; Nieces and nephews, Pamela (Scott) Browne, and their children Kadin, Colton, Kembra, Linda (Jody) Vandertie, and their children Miranda, Miryssa, and Christopher (Rebecca) Robinson, and their children Kemper, Chyanne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Edwin and Dorothy Stodola, and one sister, Mary Stodola.

Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee, from 9:30-11:30 am on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at a later date in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
