Sharon Ann "Sherry" Tebon , 73, of Algoma, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday evening, September 22, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Sharon was born September 20, 1944 to the late Elmer and Ester (Correy) Dart. She graduated from Algoma High School in 1962. On April 20, 1979 she married Lester J. Tebon Together they started farming on Fremont Rd. In 1983 they purchased Sharon's Parents tavern in Bruemmerville and continued operating both businesses until 1997, when on Christmas day the barn burned down with all the cattle in it.
Sharon early in life entered in the bar business, owning bars in Casco and Bruemmerville. She continued in the bar business until March of this year. She was an active member of the tavern league, pool leagues and card leagues. Her interests included golfing, playing cards, and shooting pool. She loved spending time with her family and putting others before herself.
She is survived by her 6 children, Peter J. Lauscher, Wausau, Christina (Greg) Brown, Casper, WY, Dion D. Lauscher, Algoma, Michelle (Jeff) Stangel, Kewaunee, James Lee (Brooke) Tebon, Algoma, Sarah (Ben) Delcore, Green Bay. She was a proud grandma to Michelle's children, Zach, Justin, Kelsey (FiancAC. Ryan Wilfert) and Ayden, Christina's daughter Cassandra (and great-granddaughter Mekyla), James's children Kirsten and Grayson, and Sarah's children Audrina and Mallory. She is further survived by brother Leon (special friend Jane) Dart, sister Susan (Byron) Christensen and Elaine Dart. brothers-in-law Don (Mercy) Tebon, Clifford Tebon, sister-in-law Joyce (Roy) Englebert.
She was preceded by her parents, her father and mother-in-law Goldie (Laura) Tebon, her brother Ervin Dart, daughter-in-law Jane, brother-in-law Ken Tebon and sister-in-law Dianne Tebon.
Visitation with the family will take place on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home - Algoma. A prayer service will take place at 7:00pm with Fr. John Broussard. Online condolence messages may be shared here .
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Sherry's name to benefit the Bellin I.C.U.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bellin Health for their special care of mom. And to all of the friends and neighbors who were there to help mom when needed.
