Sharon A. Anderson , 66 of Algoma, passed away at home with her family by her side on May 16, 2015. She was born on September 4, 1948 to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Fett) Koss. Sharon graduated from Algoma High School and NWTC, with an Associate Degree in computer programming. Sharon married John S. Anderson in 1975 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Algoma. John and Sharon enjoyed going to the State Fair and running their Swedish Pancake House together. He preceded her in death in 1995. She worked for Derse, in Milwaukee, she also owned and operated Great American Design and Art Studios in Burlington, until the loss of her husband. She then moved back to Algoma and worked for Cape Townsend, Algoma Hardwoods, SRO, K.C.E.D.C. and currently was employed at the Farm Market Kitchen. Sharon enjoyed farming, gardening, fireworks and she loved all of her animals. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Rosary Society.
Sharon's kindness, respect and consideration for everyone she met will linger long in all of our hearts. Her middle name was giving. She was more than generous in sharing what she had. Quick to offer a warm smile, and helping hand or soft words in the face of others adversity was who she was.
Steadfast was her love for her family. They were first, Sharon was second. She was tenacious about doing the right thing and always offering all the help she could extend to neighbors, friends and work associates.
Her faith in Jesus and His gift of salvation was reverent and childlike in its acceptance. She honored His commandments to love her neighbor, honor her parents and place her loving God first in her life.
