Ronald G. Paplham, 77, entered into eternal life on July 29, 2024, after a hard-fought struggle with pulmonary fibrosis brought on by Agent Orange. Ron grew up on a dairy farm and was eager to get back to it after serving in the United States Army from 1967-1970. He farmed for 32 years until his lungs forced him to retire. Ron had a serious love for his Oliver tractors - in farming and collecting the toys. He often said, "Don't buy half of her, buy Oliver."

Ron was exceptionally proud of his service in the army, serving 10 months in Germany and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the Robinson Carlton Legion Post 538, Kewaunee VFW Post 3392, and Vietnam Veterans of America, all of which he had lifetime memberships. He loved the Green Bay Packers and was proud to be part of the Honor Guard on the field before each game for 24 years. He loved the Brewers and the Badgers and never missed a game on TV. Ron found time for sheepshead with his weekly card buddies. He was a sharp player for years, and he bowled in leagues in Kewaunee. His wife taught him to bowl, and in return he taught her sheepshead, a past time they both loved.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Kaye; his children, Greg (Tina Madson) Paplham, Jeff Paplham, and Courtney (Ted) Mueller; grandchildren, Reese, Riley, Ryder Paplham, Chase, Cheyanne Mueller; sisters, Judy Flaherty, Indiana, June (Nolan) Karnopp, Ellisville, Cindy (Joe Dax) Konop, Manitowoc, Angie (Brian) Schulz, Manitowoc; sisters-in-law, Lois Tulachka, Faye Wotachek; brother-in-law, Lee (Lori) Mueller; Also survived by stepbrothers, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
