Roger J. Konop Sr

Roger J. Konop Sr. , 77, of Kewaunee, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born November 5, 1945, to the late John and Mary (Zima) Konop. He married Joy Kunstmann on March 26, 1966, at St. Francis in Francis Creek. Roger worked as a truck driver for Schneider. He enjoyed all of his pets, watching football, watching wrestling, cutting lawn, and driving around the countryside. Christmas Eve was his favorite holiday.

Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joy; children, Roger (Mary) Konop Jr., Troy (Kari) Konop, Travis Konop, Kari (Ted Browne) Konop; grandchildren, Brooke (Zach) Beth, McKenzie (special friend Ben) Konop, Cameron Konop, Hunter (special friend Rachael) Konop; great-grandchildren, James and Luke Beth; brother, Jack Konop; grandpets, Abby, Cooper, and Oliver; as well as by brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Richard James; a brother-in-law; and his father- and mother-in-law.

The family will celebrate a graveside memorial service at St. Therese, St. Lawrence site cemetery – Stangelville, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00 am. Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
