Robert (Bob) Gadzinski, age 81 of Kewaunee died on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 3, 1936 to the late Victor and Irene (Budnik) Gadzinski.
Bob graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc in 1955. He married Donna Schleis May 27, 1960 at St. John’s Church, Krok.
He was a lifelong member of St. John’s Church, now St. Therese Parish. He served on the parish cemetery committee for many years.
He worked for Copp’s Corporation in Green Bay and then retired from Greilings Green Houses in Denmark. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, planting trees, gardening, enjoyed the birds, reading, stamp collecting and loved music, drawing cartoons and spending time in his green house.
Survivors include Donna, his wife of fifty-seven years; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Sue and Glenn Nimmer, New Franken; Ann and Bennett LaChappelle, Sturgeon Bay; Ronda Gadzinski and special friend Tom Young, Green Bay; one grandson: Kyle (Amada) Nyman; one granddaughter: Rebecca Dahlke; one great granddaughter: Belle -Marie Nyman; two brothers: Richard (Sandy) Gadzinski, Lake Tomahawk; Roger (Debi) Gadzinski, Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Carole Hansen and Sharon Hicks.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25 at St. Joseph/St. John Church, Pilsen until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church by Fr. Dennis Drury assisted by Christal Wavrunek. Burial of the urn will be in St. John's Cemetery at Krok.

Thank you to all of our family, neighbors and friends who have helped us during this difficult time especially Jim Pribek as well as the staff of Unity Hospice for their compassionate care which allowed us to keep Bob at home.
