Reuben John Stuebs

Reuben J. Stuebs, age 71 of Kewaunee died early on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at home .  He was born on December 13, 1948 at the Kewaunee Hospital to the late Renatus and Violet (Hardtke) Stuebs.

He graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 1967.  He lived on and operated the homestead farm all of his life.

On June 8, 1991 he married the former Carol Kobes-Klimesh at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kewaunee by the late Pastor Joel Sauer.  After their marriage, Carol worked with Reuben operating the farm.

He was a lifelong active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kewaunee.

Survivors include his wife: Carol; four step-children: Brian (Sally) Klimesh; Bruce Klimesh; Mark Klimesh; Janice (Kenneth) Gessert; one sister: Lois (Melvin) Selle; one brother-in-law: Ralan Hartzell. Three step-grandchildren: Joshua, Valene and Darren Marmes; five step-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Lynn Hartzell; two premature step step great great grandchildren.

A grave side burial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday July 13 at Riverview Cemetery, Keweaunee, WI by Pastor Matthew Sprunger of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
