Becky Duescher

Rebecca "Becky" R. Duescher, 75, Kewaunee, passed away on January 15, 2025. She was born in Kewaunee on August 8, 1949, to the late Ottmar and Ruth (Fager) Kuehl. She married Donald Duescher on January 23, 1971. Donald preceded her in death on May 2, 2013.

Becky loved singing no matter if it was in church or karaoke. She was an avid bowler and bowled in a Kewaunee League, making her mark in state tournaments every year. Becky enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, going to see live shows and concerts, bus trips to the casino, and playing sheepshead at family get togethers. Her biggest passion though was her children and grandchildren. She always made time to babysit the grandkids.

Becky is survived by her children, Mike Duescher, Megan (Jeremy) Blahnik, Marissa (Fiancé Matt Belson), all of Luxemburg; grandchildren, Danielle Duescher, Caleb Blahnik, Suvi and Eilo Worley; brothers, Ottmar (Kathy) Kuehl, John Kuehl; sister, Elaine (Scott) DeMarb; sisters-in-law, Janice Duescher, Sheryl Rayome, and Karen Kuehl; many nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents Ottmar and Ruth Kuehl; brother, Robert Kuehl; sister Patricia Rayome; sisters-in-law, Mary Kuehl, and Marion Duescher; brothers-in-law Gustav Duescher, Ortwin Duescher, Patrick Rayome.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services- Kewaunee. Visitation will continue Friday, January 24, 2025, from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Kewaunee. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Matthew Sprunger officiating. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee is assisting the Duescher family.
