Phil Edward Clish, age 75, of Kewaunee is writing most of his obituary. Due of the fact that he knew/knows what he did with most of his life since he was there.
He was born March 30, 1942 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Edward and Ellen (Pickering) Clish.
He past away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. He hopes the Lord will take him to help take
care of things along with the others that are up in Heaven.
His family moved to upper Michigan when he was 9 months old. They lived in Manistique, Gladstone, Escanaba and Wells before moving back to Illinois when he was twelve years old. They lived in Evanston, Palatine and Glenview.
When he was 21 he joined the U. S. Air Force, the army and navy wanted to make him an officer. After 6 months basic and tech school in Texas he was stationed in Weisbanden, Germany for 3 years. During that time he was a computer operator, computer programmer and helped the locals with their beer so that it did not go out-of-date. When his time was up in Germany, he only had 6 months to go, so the Air Force let him out early. He moved back to Glenview and lived with his parents. He got a job with A. C. Nielsen in the north side of Chicago. Again he was a computer operator, programmer and a system analyst. He and several others were transfer to Green Bay in 1969.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Cally and Aaron Peterson, Denmark; one greatly loved granddaughter: Serenity Peterson; two brothers: Don (Wanda) Clish, SC; Wes Clish, CA. He was preceded in death by the love of his life: Revell Humphreys
