Norma Hlinak, age 90 of Kewaunee died on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Kewaunee Care Center. She was born on May 14, 1931 in Kewaunee to the late John and Pauline (Albrecht) Romdenne. Norma married David Hlinak on April 24, 1958.
Norma was most proud of her career as a registered nurse, graduating in 1953 at St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Green Bay. She worked in Algoma and St. Mary’s Kewaunee Area Memorial Hospital in Kewaunee, retiring in 1994.
She is survived by three children: Greg (Sandy) Hlinak; Kathy Hlinak; Gary (Becky) Hlinak all of Kewaunee; six grandchildren: Matthew, Jessie (Tyler), David, Jacob (Alica), Alex, Collin; three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; son-in-law: Pat Kuehl; two brothers: Vince and Pete Romdenne; two sisters: Kay and Audrey and grandson Justin Kuehl.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 28 at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Alvin Amadi. Burial will follow in Holy
Rosary Cemetery.
