Mose L. Alberts

Mose L. Alberts , 87, of Casco, passed away on January 29, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital with his family by his side. He was born January 9, 1931 to the late Jule and Hattie (Flavion) Alberts. Mose married Carolyn Anderson on May 27, 1967 at First Baptist Church, Sturgeon Bay; she preceded him in death on July 18, 2002. Mose farmed along with his wife and son, Gene, until retiring. His greatest joy in life was his 3 grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Gene Alberts, Charlotte (Darren) Duckart, Jeffrey (Kelly) Alberts all of Casco; grandchildren, Chantel Duckart, Derrik Duckart and Lydia Alberts. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Lyla Alberts, Green Bay, Adris Bellin, Green Bay, Dorothy (Fran) Liesch, Kaukauna, Elaine (Bob) Hall, Appleton, Barbara (Herschel) Sandefur, Fayetteville, AR, as well as by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jule and Hattie; brothers and sisters, Sereno (Lil) Alberts, Joe (Joyce) Alberts, Julius Alberts, Serena (Ray) Rush, Rhoda (Alvin) Kroening and Mike Alberts; nephews, Jack Rush and Lee Rush; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Marion Anderson.

Visitation will be held at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home - Casco, 107 Wiesner Ave. on Friday February 2, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm and again at First Baptist Church, 610 N. 5th Ave., Sturgeon Bay, from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am with Rev. Cory Dahl officiating. Burial to follow at Gospel Truth Cemetery at 2:00 pm Saturday. Online condolences may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.
