Milton (Mick) Jacobs , 75, of Casco passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday December 23, 2010. He was born February 1, 1935 to Walter and Millie (Phillips) Jacobs. He married Carol Deprey on October 19, 1957 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln.
Mick enjoyed polka music, auctions, going to sporting events while having a beer with friends, making wood, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren when the family got together. He took great pride in operating heavy equipment.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his children Sue (Jeff) DeJardin, Shari (Sam) Kinnard, Dennis (Wendy) Jacobs, Mark (Lori) Jacobs; grandchilren Shaundel Gates (special friend Reuben), Shane DeJardin (special friend Danielle), Amanda DeJardin (special friend Tim), Eric (Dixie) Kinnard, Jason Kinnard (special friend Kayla), Adam Kinnard, Josh Jacobs, Brandon Jacobs, Cassandra Jacobs, and Samantha Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Destiny DeJardin, Tristan DeJardin, Jozlyne Gates, and Mason Kinnard; mother-in-law Mable Deprey; siblings Bill (Mary Ann) Jacobs and Alicia and Andy, Lorraine (Don) Retzlaff, Judy Jacobs; in-laws Ken (Judy) Deprey, Lynn (Ken) Mraz, Keith Deprey. Preceded in death by a sister Sr. Marion; his parents; and father-in-law Melvin Deprey.
Friends may call at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home Casco from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday December 27 and again Tuesday morning at the funeral home until 10 a.m. Rosary 7 p.m Monday evening. Funeral Tuesday December 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed here .
