Michael (Mike) R. Bolm

Mike Bolm was born December 11, 1959 in the U.P. ( something he was always kinda proud of) to Russ and Mary Bolm (nee Chartrand).

Mike always had a creative and inquisitive streak. Everything from trying to start the County's grader that they left on the side of the road when he was too young to drive, to making a giant slide for his sister by sliding down the barn roof with a gunny sac.

Mike’s creativeness was also carried over to his love for racing both Mini-Champs and early IMCA Modifies. A passion that was picked up by his youngest nephew. Mike’s other passion was for hunting and fishing. His hunting trips out West and fishing trips to Canada were epic. His passion to sit in the cold and rain looking for that ultimate buck was also taken up by his oldest nephew. Mike's creativeness was only secondary to his work ethic, he was a life long employee at Tisch Mills Farm Center, where he took pride in helping Fred build bins and elevators, while also taking the time to show other employees how to weld, assemble, and just do things “the right way”. He favorite part of his job was always driving the feed trucks and delivering the feed to farmers.

Mike had a light in him that shined bright to everyone around him whether at play or at work. “He was a good guy.” That light dimmed in the later years for many reasons and was extinguished August 13,2022.

The Family would like to Thank the people that tried to help. The Health care workers and rehab staff, and friends who reached out to him. A special Thank you goes to Tisch Mills Farm Center where he always had a home.

Mike is proceeded in death by his mother Mary Bolm. Mike is survived by his father Russ Bolm of Kewaunee, sister and brother in law Terri and Frank Haese of New Franken and Nephews Max Haese of De Pere and Sawyer Haese of Tisch Mills.

Family and Friends will gather on Wednesday August 24 from 4-7 pm at Buchanan Funeral home in Kewaunee, with prayer service at 7:00 led by Father Drury.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to a local humane society.
