Michael David Hrivnak, 70, of Kewaunee, Wisconsin died August 13, 2024, following a prolonged struggle with early-onset Alzheimer's.
Mike was a talented musician who loved to play guitar and sing with his friends and family. He was born on May 5, 1954, in Cicero, Illinois to George and Lorraine Hrivnak and graduated from Morton East High School and Western Illinois University. On September 4, 1992, he married Katrina (Janosky), and together they moved their family to Kewaunee in 2004. He retired as a Production Planner/Team Support Coordinator from Spraying Systems Company in 2007 to spend more time with his three children. He was a devoted father, always cheering on his children on the soccer field and supporting their musical talents in church and on the stage. His meatloaf and hamburger helper were the stuff of family legend.
He is survived by his wife Katrina; their children, Kai, Emma, and Morgan; mother-in law Kathleen Janosky; brother in-law Ed (Kathleen) Janosky and their family, Storm, Rachel, and Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lorraine; brother George; father-in-law Raymond Janosky; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
