The Lord took a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to heaven on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Mary Ann Fameree, 84, Casco, journeyed to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman with strong faith and an infectious smile.
Mary Ann was born on February 17, 1937, to the late Elmer and Dora (Romuald) Zellner. A graduate of Luxemburg High School, she worked in manufacturing for Lesse Aluminum and the Algoma hardwoods. On October 12, 1955, she married Jim Fameree, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1999. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church – Casco, and the Holy Rosary Society. She was also a volunteer usher at the Weidner Center.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Randy (Cathy) Fameree, Tim (June) Fameree), Pat (special friend Stew) Webster, Sue (Mark) Schmidt, and Scott (Ann) Fameree; grandchildren, Brian (special friend Shanna) Fameree, Chris (Ruth) Fameree, April & Jessica Fameree, Steve (Holly) Webster, Jon (Lisa) Webster, Sarah (Tim) Hanssen, Jamie Thomazin, Amanda & Ashley Fameree; great-grandchildren, Smith, Tess, Burke, Jack Fameree, Xavier Fameree, Andrew Webster, Alexis Dorner, Angelica Delfosse, Evelyn & Lucy Webster, Daven & Ava Hanssen, and MaKayla Thomazin; brother, Lyle (Karen) Zellner; sister, Verna (Arnie) Koller; in-laws, Elsie Gengler, Dale Vandervest, Ernie (Mary Ellen) Fameree, and Tobi Fameree; as well as by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fameree; son, Mark Fameree; parents, Elmer and Dora Zellner; in-laws Ernest, Emma, & Libby Fameree; and by other family members, Ethel (Gene) Heier, Merle (Doc) Nelson, Betty (Joe) Arendt, Al Gengler, Orville (Audrey) Fameree, Rita (Lloyd) Heraly, Sam (Joan) Fameree, Jeanette Vandervest, Allen Fameree, Frank Fameree, Emmy (Rudy) Hanamann.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 3-7 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church – Casco, the Rosary will be prayed at 6:45. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 9-11 am at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services (formerly Wiesner & Massart Funeral Homes) is assisting the family.
