Mary Lou Baudhuin, 90, Algoma, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 22, 2024. Born on January 22, 1934, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, to the late Dewey and Amanda (Miller) Maples. She married the love of her life, Harold Baudhuin on January 26, 1952, he preceded her in death on November 3, 1997. Mary Lou dedicated her life to her family, work, and community.

Mary Lou worked for Algoma Net Company in her hometown. With her strong work ethic and dedication, she made a lasting impact on those around her. Outside of work, Mary Lou found joy in simple pleasures like shooting darts, playing lottery tickets, and most of all, visiting with her loved ones. She cherished the time spent with her family and was married for over 45 years until her husband's passing in 1997.

Mary Lou is survived by her sisters, Genny Linstedt, and Violet Hegnet; children, Mary Jo Mattice, Lois LaViolette, James (Debra) Baudhuin; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harold Baudhuin; daughter, Judy Holland; sister, Dorothy Grovogel; sons-in-law, John Holland, David LaViolette Sr., and Thomas Mattice; grandson, LeRoy Romdenne; great-granddaughter, Amberly LaViolette; and her parents.

A visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Casco on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm led by Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church - Lincoln, from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Anthony Birdsall officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.

Mary Lou Baudhuin will forever be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering strength, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Our world is brighter because she was in it.
