Marc H. Jackson

Marc H. Jackson, age 62, of Kewaunee died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay due to complications from surgery. He was born in Frankfort, Michigan September 11, 1954 to Robert E. and Beverly P. (Benson) Jackson.

Marc worked for several years on the car ferry before moving to Wisconsin. When established in Wisconsin he worked for Leyse Aluminum now known as The Vollrath Company for 40 years until the time of his death.

He married Helen Fiala on May 24, 1980 in Kewaunee. He was an avid fisherman, dedicated hunter, competitive horseshoe player, and enjoyed camping with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, of 37 years; daughters and sons-in-law Kelly (Mike) Hamilton, Honor, MI; Theresa (Brandon) Peronto, Denmark; sons and daughters-in-law Jeremy (Jamie) Jackson, Kewaunee; Marc (Nikki) Jackson, Casco; grandchildren Ryan Hamilton, Carson Lintner, Lilyana Dallman, Brady Jackson and Haley Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews; sisters Judy (Ron) Keillor, Frankfort, MI; Janet L. Hunke, KY; brother Michael Jackson, Kewaunee. He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Jackson; mother Beverly Kraft; step-father Wm. P. Kraft; brother Robert (Jane) Jackson.

Friends may call at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Community Congregational Church at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. John Wallace and Gordy Krogh officiating.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU at St. Vincent’s Hospital for the care and compassion shared with Marc and his family in his last days.
