Lloyd J Cravillion, cherished husband and father, died peacefully at Anna's House with his family by his side on June 11, 2014 at the age of 86.
Born February 16, 1928 in Tonet to the late Eli & Ella (Cayemberg) Cravillion, Lloyd was an employee of the Kewaunee County Highway Department for many years. He enjoyed his years of plowing snow and made many friends.
On June 16, 1948 Lloyd married the love of his life, Carol Ravet at St Amend's church in Walhain. Together they raised 3 children, Pat, Linda and Dennis. They would have been married 66 years on Monday.
Lloyd enjoyed playing cards, deer hunting season, eating at Village Kitchen and spending time with family and friends. Most of all he enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Lakewood where he made many good friends.
Lloyd is survived by, Carol, his loving wife; son-in-law, Dennis (Cecilia) Dhuey, New Franken; daughter Linda (Dave) Kobes, Denmark; Dennis (Kathy) Cravillion, Casco; 11 grandchildren, Eric (Patty) Dhuey, Jessica (Mark) Durham, Chris (Angie) Dhuey, Jennifer Kobes, Kevin Kobes, Katie (James) Kobes, Casie (Matt) Machut, Rory Cravillion, Carly (Lincoln) Cravillion, Carey (Nick) Kolacz & Tony Cravillion and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Joyce Delveaux, brother and sister-in-laws, Janice (Miles) Haucke, DuWayne Ravet and, Jack (Betty) Ravet. He is survived by many nieces and nephews including Jim (Belinda) Blohowiak, Carol (Leon) Rasmussen, godchild Chris (Jerry) VanEss, Gary (Julie) Blohowiak, Shelly (Mike) Trombley, Jerry (Christine) Blohowiak and Ken (Nancy) Boucher.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Pat Dhuey; parents-in-law Frank & Irene Ravet; sisters Florence (Cyril) Blohowiak, Virgil (Gaylord) Boucher; brother-in-laws, Pete Colle, Richard Delveaux, Bernard VandenHouten & Jim Ravet, nephew Randy Blohowiak, neice and godchild, Judy Zellner and neice Luanne Blohowiak.
Visitation will be held Friday June 13, 2014 (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wiesner and Massart Funeral Home, Casco and again Saturday morning at the funeral home until 9:30 a.m. The rosary will be prayed Friday at 6p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
