Kenneth R. Neuzil, 78, Algoma, passed away on January 24, 2024. Ken was born on September 22, 1945, to the late Roy and Lorraine (Michaletz) Neuzil. On September 11, 1971, at St. Hubert’s Church in Rosiere, he married the love of his life, Angela Massart. Together they enjoyed a life of over 50 years together, raising 2 wonderful children. Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed hunting, he was especially a proud grandfather when his granddaughter Kylie got her first deer. As well as the many years with the deer hunters in “Kenny’s Hunting Shack” Ken was a member of the Algoma FFA Alumni, he played slow pitch baseball, and dartball. He enjoyed playing cards at Moe’s in the Cuyoo league as well as poker nights with friends. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
Ken is survived by his wife, Angela Neuzil; son, Dan Neuzil of Algoma; daughter, Kelly Miller of Algoma; granddaughter, Kylie Miller, and brother-in-law, Dale Massart of Algoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lorraine Neuzil; and in-laws Edwin and Lorraine Massart.
Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Casco, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 3-7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 9:30-11 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rankin with the funeral service at 11:00 am with Dr. Rev. Christopher Jackson presiding.
