Kenneth L. Derenne, 70, of Mishicot, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, July 8, 2022. He was born April 30, 1952, to the late Ervin and Margaret (Barrette) Derenne. He grew up on the family farm where he learned his strong work ethic. He had many jobs over the years and at many times more than one. Starting out on the farm, then Dick Bros. Bakery, SaraLee, Ace Hardware, Felician Village, Salms Meats, and Menards. When he did finally retire, he enjoyed car shows, spending time with his family, and his daily walks.
He is survived by his siblings, Tom (Irene), Green Bay, Gail (Dale) Wery, Townsend, Debbie (Al) Collard, Mishicot, Don (Debbie), Arizona, Erv, Green Bay, Craig (Karla), Mishicot, James (Mary), Illinois, Kevin (Renee), Luxemburg, Deanne (Curtis) Schultz, Kewaunee; nieces and nephews, Karen (Dean), Kimberly, David (Tina), Damien, Brittany, Tyler, Melanie, Dalton, Zane, Charles, Anna, and Benjamin; great-nieces and -nephews, Kendra, Ethan, Caleigh, Frank, Dominic, DJ, Dawson, and Dexton (who affectionately called him “Uncle Honey”); great-great-niece, Isla; and special cousins, Julius and Pat LeCaptain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a special nephew/godson, Dean Collard.
Visitation will be held at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Casco on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 10:30-11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 Am. Burial will take place in the St. Isidore/St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tisch Mills. Online condolence message may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
