Karen Rose Schneider, age 68, Kewaunee died on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in Manitowoc to the late Alvin and Norma (Taylor) Wagner.
Anyone who came into contact with Karen knew she had a big heart. She cared for many people, family and friends. She loved animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. She always had a smile on her face and an exceptional “gift of gab” and made everyone feel comfortable in her presence.
During her working years, Karen enjoyed caring for the elderly allowing them to remain in their homes comfortably. She spent countless hours helping and supporting others. She had many talents and enjoyed crafting, decorating and gardening. Lastly, her children and grandchildren were her greatest blessing.
Survivors include husband, Tom, two children, Jason (Stacie) Schneider, Alyssa (Justin) Brown all of Kewaunee; three grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Allie and Emmitt Schneider, a sister, Lynn Wagner, Las Vegas, NV. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ed (Molle) Schneider, Linda (Dennis) Arndt, Mary (Joe) Pilgrim, Mike Schneider, and Don Schneider.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Vince Wagner, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Alvina Schneider and sister-in-law, Virgina Saxe.
Friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Kewaunee until the time of services. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. and live streamed at immanuellutherankewaunee.org or Immanuel Facebook page to watch the service.
