Karen A. Muchowski

Karen A. Muchowski, 61, passed away at home on March 18, 2025, after a three year battle with cancer. Karen was born and raised in Kewaunee County. She graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1982. Her parents owned Bob and Carol's Hideaway where she enjoyed connecting with many people. Karen and Pat moved to Arizona in 1987 where they got married and started a family. They moved back to Wisconsin in 1996 to take over the bar for a couple of years. Karen then spent many years working at Hudson Sharp and the City of Kewaunee.

Karen enjoyed being up north at their cabin in Crivitz, taking rides on the pontoon boat and making memories with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Pat; daughters, Stephanie (Marty) LaTour and Patricia (Trey) Knoll; grandchildren, Landon and Karson LaTour; brother-in-law Don Muchowski; sister-in-law, Julie Reyes; and many other loving family members.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carol (Skaleski) Van Goethem; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Ione (Worachek) Muchowski; and brother-in-law, Mike Muchowski.

Per Karen's wishes, the immediate family will hold a private service and burial. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee is assisting the family. Online condolences can be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
