Judy Ann Jerovetz

January 1, 1956 — August 11, 2021

Judith (Judy) Ann Jerovetz, age 65 of Kewaunee died on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Bellin Memorial Hospital.  She was born on January 1, 1956 in the Town of Franklin to the late Robert and Dorothy (Seidl) Jerovetz.

She was raised on a dairy farm one mile north of St Lawrence Catholic Church (Stangelville), where she went to catechism and received the sacraments.

Judy graduated from Kewaunee High School Class of 1974. She worked at NEW Plastics in Luxemburg for 18 years, and then later moved to Green Bay area where she worked various jobs including Thiry Daems Cheese Factory,  Mary Morgan, TNT Crust, SPOT Supper Club, Riverside Ballroom and others. Judy was a very active and hard working individual, also very generous, kind, fun loving, feisty, thoughtful, determined, vivacious, social, thankful, forgiving, humble private person, and never wanted to be a burden. Her appearance was important and she liked to look nice. She had a great smile and laugh. Even though with her recent medical challenges, she remained strong and independent wanting to live her best life. She always wanted to help others however she could. Judy enjoyed being with her friend groups, going to bands, and other social gatherings during her younger years. She loved outdoors, nature, sunshine, water, and animals of all kinds, especially horses (Beauty, Apache, and Sam), kittens, and dogs especially (King, Penny, and Pal). Activities included, horseback riding, lawn work, bike riding, going up north. Judy also enjoyed sporty cars and traveled to San Diego Zoo and Disneyland.

Despite at times Judy had a hard road, she always managed to power through. She spent a lot of enjoyable time and created a meaningful bond with her special childhood friends Karen Frisque, Rita Mertens, Diane Dolski, and many more that were so kind and spent valuable time with her playing games like Rummikub, Bingo, Drain the Brain, etc.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy, and brother Eugene Jerovetz, paternal grandparents John and Mary Jerovetz, maternal grandparents Peter and Katherine Seidl, and Special Aunts: Kathy Jerovetz and Frances Swagel.

Judy is survived by sister Bonnie Berkey (Dan Vogel), nieces and nephews: Jennifer and Brian Berkey, Jacob and Ben Jerovetz, Vicki (Mark), Zoe, and Gwen Sisel. Sister-In-Law Kim (David) Simonar, special aunts: Ruth Koudelka, Marlene Seidl, all Jerovetz,  Seidl cousins and the Robinson family.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 24 at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville until the time of services.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Dennis Drury assisted by Christal Wavrunek, Pastoral Minister at 11:00 a.m.  Burial of the urn will follow in then parish cemetery.
