Joyce M. Haegele , 88, of Algoma, passed away on May 28, 2015 at Bay Road Place with her family by her side. She was born December 2, 1926 to the late Ferdinand (Fred) and Mary (Dellis) Boucher in the Town of Lincoln. She worked at St. Paul's Lutheran School, as a cook, Algoma Net Company and the Algoma Hardwoods until retirement in 1988. On July 6, 1946 she married Richard Haegele at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2004.
She is survived by one son Rick (Sue) Haegele, DePere and their children, Derek Haegele, Green Bay and Sarah Haegele, DePere; one daughter, Lori (Bill) Schuerman, Milwaukee and their children Michael(Elise) Schuerman and great grandson Gabriel Schuerman of Spokane, WA., Claire (Jordon) Clark, Elkhart IN., Matthew(Judy) Schuerman, Colorado Springs, Daniel (Hannah) Schuerman, Norfolk, VA. Joyce is further survived by one brother Ronnie (Bev) Boucher, one sister in law Janet Bouche and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Milton (Grace) Bouche, Melvin(Rita) Bouche, Robert Bouche Sr.; sisters Lorraine Hrabik and her husbands Clarence Bosman and Jim Hrabik; Valerie (Jerome) Stacie and Rose Marie (Robert) Benesh; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, on Saturday May 30, 2015 from 9 to 11 am. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am with Pastor John Moll officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joyce's name.
