Joseph (Joe) D. Bouril

Joseph D. Bouril, age 87 of Kewaunee died on Friday, September 23, 2022.  He was born on July 3, 1935 in Kewaunee to the late Joseph and Mary (Folk) Bouril.

Joe graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1954.  He then served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1957 to 1963.

He married Delva Charles on September 5, 1959 at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee where they became very active lifelong members of the parish and Rosary Society. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2022.

Joe worked for the Kewaunee Highway Department for many years until retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Kewaunee Hunting and Fishing Club.  He enjoyed deer hunting, pheasant hunting with his dog, fishing and working in his garden.

Survivors include  a son and daughter-in-law: Todd and Donna Bouril, Kewaunee; two daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Keith Bellin, Appleton; Kim and Tiger Ihlenfeldt, Kewaunee; five grandchildren: Amber Bouril, Abbey (Jon) Pilgrim, Bryce (Brianna) Bellin, Kyle Bellin, Brock Ihlenfeldt; three great grandsons: Jace, Brooks and Cash Bellin; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bouril, Manitowoc, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Deanne and Wayne Zuege, Kewaunee, Donna and Bruce Kieckbusch, Two Rivers, Louise Charles, Kewaunee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen (Alfred) Shebesta, brother, Donald Bouril, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Randall and Marie Charles, brother-in-law, Delbert Charles.

Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church,  Kewaunee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
