John F. Ihlenfeldt, age 79 of the Town of Ahnapee died on January 28, 2022 at his home. He was born in Kewaunee on November 5, 1942 to the late Millard and Louise (Levy) Ihlenfeldt.
John graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1960. He married Dianne Luedtke February 12, 1964. He and Dianne farmed in the Town of Ahnapee all of their lives. He also worked at various jobs in the area. He was proud of his collection of Farmall tractors all painted and restored.
Survivors include Dianne, his wife of fifty-seven years; a daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Robert Graycarek, Algoma; a son: Brad Ihlenfeldt, Algoma; one granddaughter: Bailey Bomber; one sister and brother-in-law: Kathleen (Martin) Burkhardt, Wausau; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Shirley Kustka, Kewaunee; Karen Schoening, Algoma; Kathy (Pat) Benes, Algoma.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Ihlenfeldt; two brothers-in-law: Arnold Kustka; Floyd Schoening; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Orville and Renata Luedtke.
At his request there will be no services and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Carlton.
