Jenette A. Strege

Jenette A. Strege, 78, passed away at home on November 18, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1945, in Spencer, WI to the late Donald and Myrtle (Vanderhoof) Payne. On April 7, 1973, she married the love of her life Gary Strege in Manitowoc, WI. Jenette enjoyed watching and feeding her birds, watching her stories on TV, doing puzzles, and collecting coins.

Jenette is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Strege; children, Lisa (Dana) Rankin, Mark (Dawn) Mahnke, Laurie (Pat) Janowski, Larry (Gail) Mahnke, and Bill (Kayla) Strege; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Jr (Rita) Payne, Daniel (Susan) Payne, James (Mary) Payne, Irvin “Jack” (Mary) Payne; sisters, Sandra Schindler, Barbara Siporski, Mary Kresbach, Evelyn Schindler, Peggy Sonneman, and Kathy (Terry) Gahagan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Myrtle Payne; brother, Robert Payne; sisters, Donna Perkey, and Brenda Schisel; and granddaughter Samantha Strege.
