Jean F. Fiala

Jean F. Fiala, 82, Kewaunee, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, peacefully with family by her side. She was born on April 17, 1942, to Edward Sr. and Adeline (Augustine) Koudelka.

Jean graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1960. She married Joseph Fiala Jr. on November 11, 1961, at Holy Rosary Church. She worked at Kewaunee Equipment as well as Mirro Aluminum for many years, making housewares. She also worked at Luxemburg Plastics. Jean was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had a strong passion for knitting, fishing, and baking. She loved taking her grandchildren to the park and letting them play with all her cats and kittens.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Fiala III of Ludlow, KY; Daughter-in-law, Traci Fiala; six grandchildren, Jaycey (Fiancé Roman) Fiala, Reyann Fiala, Dekotah (Significant other, Sam) Fiala, Cora Fiala, Jordyn (Heather) Robinson, Brandi (Jevin) DeLeon; four step grandchildren, Chelsea, Taylor, Shawn, and Owen Manley; Daughter, Jill Fiala; two grandchildren, Josh Mastalir, and Sara Fiala; four great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Fiala Jr.; her parents; three sons, Jeffrey, Jason, and John Fiala; two brothers, Leonard and Edward Jr. Koudelka; and sister-in-law Ruth Koudelka.

A visitation will take place Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Kinnard Funeral Home, Kewaunee. Visitation will continue Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10:00 am - 11:45 am at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Fr. George Daniel officiating.
