Jay M. Palazzo 45, Algoma, passed away August 6, 2013. He was born May 4, 1968 to Carol (Koss) Palazzo and the late Harry Palazzo. He married Jody Schaumann in 1994 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Algoma. Jay enjoyed listening and playing music, working in his garden and had a special talent working with flowers. He was part of WUMFA and the Knights of Columus. Jay also had a great love for his pets.
He is survived by his wife Jody, mother Carol Palazzo, Brothers and Sisters Lynn(Cletus) Conard, Kimberly(Randolph) Warnke, Vince Palazzo, Kent(Lorna) Palazzo, Philip(Kris) Palazzo, Sisters in law and Brothers in law Robyn(Doug) Hillmann, Shelly Schaumann, Stewart Schaumann, Father in law and Mother in law Robert and Carma Schaumann, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Jay was preceded in death by his father Harry Palazzo, John Anderson, great nephew Miles and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held Thursday(TODAY) August 8, 2013 at Wiesner and Massart Funeral Home Algoma, from 4-8 p.m. Prayer service will be at 7p.m. with Kathy Zemen. Visitation will continue on Friday August 9, 2013 from 9:30-10:45 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Algoma. Funeral Mass will follow at 11a.m. with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
