Jim LuMaye of Casco died July 20, 2017. He was born August 26, 1948 at the family farm in Rosiere to August and Adeline (Tassoul) LuMaye.
Jim a 1966 graduate of Southern Door High School joined the U.S. Air Force shortly after graduation and retired on July 1, 1986. After retiring from the Air Force he went to work for the Corp of Engineers as a park ranger and retired on December 31, 2007.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda (Andrew) Campeau of Culver, MN, two brothers, four sisters, two brothers-in-law, and six sisters-in-law; Gerald (Florence), Brussels; Harold (Judy), Luxemburg; Mary (Lawrence) Conard, Algoma; Nora Ripley, Green Bay; Sister Gerald, St. Francis Convent; Anne Zeimet, Oshkosh; Beverly LuMaye, Sturgeon Bay; Joyce Berndt, Green Bay; Carol Rose, Green Bay; Sandy LuMaye, Two Rivers; and Lawrence Jandrin, Kewaunee.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Pat, his parents, mother and father-in-law, and 18 brothers and sisters; Leo, Melvin, Joseph, Harold, Harry, Norbert, Maurice, Lawrence, Isadore, Bernard, August, Cletus, Anna, Lilly, Mildred, Alice, Adeline, and Margaret.
Friends may call at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home - Casco from 4-8 pm, Monday July 24, 2017. A military service will take place at 7:00 pm with members of the Thibaudeau Drossart Casco American Legion Post 319, followed by a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning July 25, 2017 from 9:30-10:45 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Luxemburg. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Milton Suess officiating. Burial will then take place at the church cemetery with full military rites. Online condolences may be shared here .
