James W. Bruemmer, 84, died on October 31, 2023, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judith Ann. Son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Michelle Bruemmer. Daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Al Van Hoosen. Grandsons Nathan Bruemmer and Kyle Bruemmer. Step-grandson Dylan Van Hoosen and friend Katie. Further survived by sister-in-law Toni Charles, sister-in-law Peggy and Gary Van Boxel.
Jim was employed by Kewaunee Bottling Works for over 40 years until they went out of business. He then worked for NEW Cleaning and Kewaunee Fabrication in the Janitorial Department.
He enjoyed “going for coffee” every morning for many years, playing his Wii bowling games, watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. He enjoyed going to Perkins for lunch, and doing scratch off lottery tickets.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Eleanor (Maigatter) Bruemmer, in-laws Edward and Esther Michalek. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ed and Nancy Michalek.
Private services will be held with inurnment to follow at the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Kewaunee is assisting the family. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
