Helen Dufek, 91, Algoma, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born January 29, 1922 in Lincoln to the late Pete and Rose (Cayemberg) Dellis.
Helen married Raymond Dufek on November 4, 1941 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Lincoln. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1984.
Helen enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, playing cards, going out to eat, baking and dancing.
She is survived by her 5 children, Pearl Kostka, Algoma, Gladys (Robert) Nething, Two Rivers, Ruth Challe, Green Bay, Roy (Mary Rae) Dufek, Algoma, Pete (Patty) Dufek, Algoma; 1 brother, Peter Dellis; 10 grandchilren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 1 son-in-law, Darrell Challe; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Grace (Clarence) Reince; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Lucy) Dellis; 1 sister-in-law, Edna Dellis.
Visitation will be held at Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Algoma from 4 to 8pm on Thursday, October 24th and will continue on Friday from 9:30 to 11am at St. Mary's Church, Algoma. Wake Service 7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Friday at St. Mary's Church with Fr. Bill Swichtenberg officiating. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
