Hazel M. Entringer

Hazel M. Entringer, At the age of 96, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died peacefully on Tues., Jan. 30, 2024. Beloved mother of Kenn Entringer (Marie A. Casey), St. Louis; Linda Delwiche (Darrell), Sturgeon Bay; Allen Entringer, Green Bay; and Janet Stolarski (Mike), Silex MO. Cherished grandmother of Anna Casey Entringer (Jim Scott), St. Louis; and Ryan Delwiche (Will Young), Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her husband, Ransom Mark Entringer, born in Algoma WI; her parents, Camille and Mary (Deprey) Annoye; and her siblings, Magdalene M., Robert and James.

Born in Forestville WI on July 8, 1927, she grew up in Casco WI, where she loved helping her parents with farming. She graduated from LaFayette School in Euren WI and worked from 1942-45 at Algoma Flynet and Algoma Plywood during World War II. She and Ransom married in 1947 and made their home outside Algoma on the Entringer farmstead. She lived fully and independently – enjoying her family and friends, the outdoors, gardening and the Packers.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated Feb. 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Algoma WI, with burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Masses appreciated.
