Harry "Carl" Kinjerski, age 80, of Kewaunee, went to his eternal rest surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1944, in Kewaunee to the late Harry W. and Anita (Plohar) Kinjerski.
Carl attended Kewaunee High School from 1959 to 1962. He enjoyed participating in all sports, especially baseball and football. Throughout his career Carl worked as a machinist at various factories. Most notably, he worked for his very good friend Norb Zelewski at ANZ Specialty.
Carl served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves from 1961 to 1968. He was a member of Robinson Post 538 of the American Legion and was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of De Pere.
He is survived by six children, Shelly Gjesdahl (Keith Linzmeyer), Brian Kinjerski (Rob Battan), Dori Kinjerski (Vicki Strebel), Todd (Vicky) Kinjerski, Jason (Lora) Kinjerski, and Joshua Kinjerski (Lori Hagenow); thirteen grandchildren, Sonya Gjesdahl, Leah Gjesdahl (Derrick Voruda), Allie Gjesdahl, Tasha Gjesdahl (Derek Anderson), Dustin (Abby) Varick, Reese (Rachel) Varick, Carissa Varick, Cassandra Kinjerski (Jared Ledvina), Rachel Kinjerski (Jason Selner), Brady Kinjerski (Taylor Homeyer), Bella Kinjerski, Alicia Kinjerski (Kayden Schmidt), and Riley Kinjerski; brother, Paul (Vonnie) Kinjerski; two sisters, Joanne Hegnet and Jean (Theodore) Janowski; sisters-in-law, Gail Kinjerski and Rosalie Kinjerski; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward Kinjerski, Robert Kinjerski, and Norbert Kinjerski; sisters-in-law, Edwardine Kinjerski and Shirley Kinjerski; brother-in-law Maynard Hegnet Sr.; Godson Maynard Hegnet Jr.; and niece Louise Hegnet.
A public visitation will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A private family service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025.
