Harriet B. Bosdeck, age 89 of Luxemburg died Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born October 27, 1928 in the Town of Montpelier the late Albert and Loretta (Zuege) Schultz. On July 26, 1952 she married Edward Bosdeck at St. Paul’s Lutheran Parsonage. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1968.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Harriet worked at Algoma Net Co. For seven years until retiring. Her favorite past time was sewing for family and friends. She helped make quilts for the Lutheran World Relief . Harriet also enjoyed watching birds in her back yard feeder, she especially liked the cardinals, which was her favorite. She loved spending precious time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters: Marlene (Robert) Kratz, Luxemburg; Marlice (David) Duescher, Kewaunee; three daughters-in-law: Brenda Bosdeck, Kewaunee; Christine Schultz, Green Bay; Karen Bosdeck, Luxemburg; fourteen grandchildren: Jeremy (Jen)Schultz; Alicia Schultz; Paul( Sherri) Kratz; Dale Kratz and special friend, Renee Conard; Tina (Travis) Kilgore; Alan (Erin) Duescher; Sarah (Charles) VanLaanen; Jill (Tyler) Frea; Tabitha (Andrew Anderson)
Bosdeck; Casey (Kyle) Kudick; Jenny VandenAvond; Ann (Ron) VanDenBusch; Andrew Bosdeck; Matthew (Stacy) Bosdeck. Thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Joyce (David) Schweiner and Janice Perleberg, Luxemburg; two brother: Orville Schultz, Milwaukee; Willard Schultz, Denmark; two sisters-in-law: Frances Schmiling and Barbara Bosdeck, Algoma and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Darrell Schultz; Rodney Bosdeck and Wayne Bosdeck; one infant sister:Marilyn Schultz; two sisters-in-law: LaVerne Schultz and Delores Schultz; one brother-in-law: Vernon Perleberg; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Wencil and Mary Bosdeck; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Emil and Ethel Bosdeck, Charles Bosdeck, Wencil Bosdeck and Gordon Schmiling and one sister-in-law: Evelyn Wessel.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 25 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, N4118 County Road AB, Luxemburg, WI 54217. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kewaunee Atrium and Dr. Alan Olson and everyone who cared for Harriet and made Mom comfortable. We also thank Pastor Daniel Olson prayers and visits.
