Floyd E. Sisel

Floyd E. Sisel , 88, of Casco passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born on April 27, 1927 in Casco to the late Edward and Mary (Kalcik) Sisel. He graduated from Casco High School in 1944. On June 9, 1948 he married Erma Jadin at St. Mary's of the Snow Catholic Church in Namur. Floyd was a great, loving husband and dad. His grandchildren were a "very special" joy to him.

Floyd was employed and managed Casco FS and Mid Lakes FS for 37 years. After retirement he enjoyed helping on the John and Sonia Malcore farm. He loved music and dancing, having been taught by his mother at an early age. He also enjoyed cards, gardening, and most importantly, socializing with friends. Floyd was a charter member of the Casco Lions Club, having received the prestigious Melvin Jones award. He was also awarded the FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer Award. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Casco.

Floyd is survived by his wife Erma of 66 years, five children; Rick Sisel, Milwaukee, Wendy (Bob) Zaspel, Green Bay, Scott (Katie) Sisel, Minneapolis, Todd Sisel, at home, Michelle Sisel, Green Bay; three grand-children; Ryne Zaspel, Jordan and Emily Sisel; one brother, James (Daune) Sisel and one sister, Diane (Nic) Rabideau; two sisters-in-law, Vida Jacobs and Mildred Granius and one brother-in-law, Roland Englebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mary, son Perry, in-laws, Adam and Irene Jadin, George (Blanche) Jeanquart, Carole Englebert, Dick Jacobs, Bernard Granius, nieces and nephews, Jon Rabideau, John D. Sisel, Phil Jeanquart and Mary Englebert.

Visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco, on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 9 to 11:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am with Father Milton Suess officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Wiesner & Massart Casco is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed here .
