Emily Kozina, age 98 of Stangelville died on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center of Kewaunee. She was born on June 1, 1919 to the late Matt and Catherine (Pilzak) Hruska.
She married Joseph F. Kozina on August 30, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2002.
She and her husband farmed in the Town of Franklin all of her life. She also worked at Mirro Aluminum Co. for thirteen years until retiring.
She was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Church at Stangelville, now St. Therese Parish. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and shopping.
Survivors include two daughters: Kathleen and Elizabeth Kozina and a son: James Kozina and family dog: Ginger all of Stangelville. Preceded in death by a brother: Wencil Hruska, who was killed in service in WWII.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19 at St. Lawrence Church, N2085 Co Rd. AB, Denmark until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury assisted by Christal Wavrunek, Pastoral Assistant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
