Edward J. Michalek

Edward J. Michalek, New Berlin WI, died unexpectedly Wednesday June 27 at the age of 68.
Ed was born in Kewaunee on January 18, 1950 to the late Edward V. and Esther M. Michalek.  He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of ’68.  He attended UW-Oshkosh and then moved to Milwaukee where he had a career in the Title Insurance field.  He owned his own company until his retirement.  He enjoyed traveling, watching the Brewers and Packers and spending time with his canine buddy Pugsley.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy, son Joel (Lisa) Waukesha, siblings, Judy (Jim) Bruemmer and Toni Charles, Kewaunee, Peggy (Gary) Van Boxel, Dyckesville, nephews and nieces; Jeff (Michelle) Bruemmer, Sturgeon Bay, Lisa (Al) Van Hoosen, Green Bay, Chris (Mandy) Charles, Suamico, Cori (Mike) Neumeyer, Mayville along with great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in New Berlin at a later date.
Rest in peace, Ed.  We will miss your visits and dry sense of humor and contagious laugh. ‘Hope you are playing in the Rock N Roll Heaven Band.
