Dorothy Ihlenfeldt, age 91 of Kewaunee died on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Angels Touch Assisted Living in DePere. She was born in the Town of Carlton to the late Joseph and Sybil (Koller) Levy on November 8, 1927.
She married Fred Ihlenfeldt Sr. on June 30, 1945 and preceded her in death Apr. 26, 2000.
She and Fred farmed in the Town of Carlton until retiring. She was a great cook and baker.
Survivors include her children: Fred Ihlenfeldt Jr., Kewaunee; Larry (Gail) Ihlenfeldt, Kewaunee; Jayne (Tim) Petrich, Jacksonville, Fl; two grandchilden: Stefanie (Phil) Wittman; Steve (Kelli) Ihlenfeldt; four great grandchildren: Mitchell and Cameron Wittman; Emma and Cal Ihlenfeldt; a brother: Robert (Judy) Levy, Kewaunee; one sister Eleanor Kleiman, Kewaunee. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Merlin, Arden and Donald Levy; three sisters: Fern Bruechert, Deloris Bruechert and Hazel Paquette.
Family funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, with Pastor James Hessner. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Two Creeks.
