Dorothy Elaine Herlache, 91, Kewaunee, passed away on March 29, 2021. She was born on March 5, 1930 in Green Bay to the late Herbert and Melba (Nockerts) Bushmaker. She married Milton Herlache on August 6, 1949, he preceded her in death on July 26, 1993. Dorothy was the president of the Blue Army Lady of Fatima, Casco chapter. She was also a member of Catholics United for Faith (CUF) and was a professed Secular Carmelite (OCDS).
Dorothy is survived by her children, Susan Kinjerski, Milo Huempfner; grandchildren, Kim and Gary Bertrand, Tracy and Kenny Theis, Donny Kinjerski Jr. (special friend Melissa); great-grandchildren, Tyler Bertrand (fiancé Hayley), Joshua Bertrand (special friend Erin), Tanner Kinjerski (fiancé Emily), Kyle Theis (special friend Olivia), and Allie Kinjerski; brothers, David (Linda) Bushmaker and Peter (Jo Ann) Bushmaker; sisters-in-law, Pat (Bushmaker) Skagg and Barbara Bushmaker; best friends, Mary Jo Blahnik and Sandra Bruhn; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; parents, Herbert and Melba Bushmaker; brothers, Richard Bushmaker and Ronald Bushmaker; sister, Betty (Merlin) LeGrave; father- and mother-in-law, William and Clara Herlache; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Leland and Dorothy (Gay) Herlache, Arlene and Bill Herlache, Gerald Herlache, Lynn Daul, and Bonnie and Buck Everarts; as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church - Casco from 8:30-10:45 on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Daniel Schuster officiating. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced, and facemasks are required to be worn. Online condolence messages may be shared at www.wiesnermassart.com.
