Donald Patrick Lyons

Donald P. Lyons, age 83 of Two Rivers, formerly of Kewaunee died on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Hamilton Health Services in Two Rivers. He was born on May 4, 1938 Door County to the late Donald J. and Lorraine (Schiesser) Lyons. He attended Kewaunee High School and then married Jannie Mae Nissley May 5, 1962. She preceded him in death on July 12, 1986. He then married Judith (Drews) Zunker and she preceded him in death April 8, 2007. He worked his entire life at Leyse Aluminum Co., now Vollrath of Kewaunee until retiring. He also worked at Pelke Service Service Station. He enjoyed being up North, fixing things and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia and Mike Boulanger, Lincoln; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Michael Lyons, Amberg, WI and Richard and Tina Lyons, Two Rivers; three step-sons: Steven Zunker, Marshfield; Doug Zunker, Algoma; Donald Zunker; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers: Gerald (Geraldine) Lyons, Two Rivers; Paul Lyons, Two Rivers; two sisters: Margaret (special friend, Phil) Schweppe, Two Rivers; Catherine Burnette, Killeen, TX; step daughter-in-law: Dawn Zunker, Green Bay; a sister-in-law: Carol Lyons, Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by one son: Leo Lyons; one step-daughter: Sandy Zunker; two stepsons: Mike Zunker; Richard Zunker; five brothers: Thomas Lyons; James Lyons; Robert (Roberta) Lyons; Ralph (Sharon) Lyons and John Lyons.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday November 24 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee until the time of services. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Christal Wavrunek officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
