Daniel E. Doperalski Sr.

Daniel Erwin Doperalski, Sr., 80, of Kewaunee, passed away unexpectedly at home, on January 12, 2023. Dan was born on September 7, 1942, to the late Daniel and Frances (Uhlers) Doperalski. On April 20, 1968, he married Audrey Gruetzmacher. She preceded him in death on August 11, 2014. Dan worked for the postal service and he retired from the Kewaunee Fire Department. He loved watching Baseball and Football, and spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by his children, Lisa (Gary) Paul, Daniel (Wendy) Doperalski Jr., Todd (Tara) Doperalski; grandchildren, Laken (James) Anderson, Jensen (fiancé Phillip) Paul, Bryce and Clayton Doperalski, Noah, Ava, and Jonah Doperalski; great-grandson Ellis Anderson; brother Peter (Sandie) Doperalski; sisters, Beverly (Carl) Bouche, Jackie (Dennis) Ott; brother-in-law, sister-in-law; also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey; his parents; and by brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services – Kewaunee from 4-8 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023, with a prayer service at 7:45 pm with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, from 10-11:45 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church – Kewaunee. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 noon with Fr. Andrew Kurz officiating.
