Carol Schwantes, age 87, of Kewaunee died on Monday, August 23. 2021 at Emerald Shores, Kewaunee/ She was born on Aug. 11, 1934 in Milwaukee to the late Erwin and Evangeline ((Stein) Martin
She married Erwin Schwantes on June 16, 1951 in Chicago, IL and he Preceded her in death on June 15, 2021
She and Erwin operated a farm in West Kewaunee until retiring.
Survivors include one son, Bruce (Julie) Schwantes, Oregon, WI; one daughter, Holly Schwantes, Kewaunee; three grandsons: Matt (Sandy) Schwantes, Chris (Beth) Schwantes, Brett (Elizabeth) Schwantes; four great grandaughters; one sister-in-law: Judy Fager, Algoma. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Schwantes.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
