Audrey J. (Jadin) Gilson

Audrey J. Gilson , 81, of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Anna’s House in New Franken.  She was born on September 4, 1936, to the late Orville and Alice (Everard) Jadin.  On September 23, 1961, she married Allen Gilson at St. Martin Catholic Church in Tonet, Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on March 7, 2012.  Audrey enjoyed reading, knitting, embroidery, and sewing.  She also enjoyed gardening, canning and cake decorating.  She especially loved her time with her children and grandchildren.

Audrey is survived by her four children Lynn (Ron) Anderson, Casco; Anthony (Jill) Gilson, Luxemburg; Daniel (Tree) Gilson, Luxemburg; and Francis Gilson, Casco; five grandchildren Eric (fiancé Amanda) Anderson, Justin (Brook) Anderson, Josh Gilson, Elizabeth Gilson, and Emily (fiancé Brandon) Gilson; one sister Verna (Jim)  Wautlet; one brother Myron (Kathy) Jadin; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald Gilson, Diane Massart, Leon Gilson, Wayne (Mary Ann) Gilson, Joanne Blahnik, Mary Ann (Dennis) Lockstein, Sharon (Ken) Rass,  and Mel (Mary) Gilson.  She was preceded in death by her husband Allen, her parents Orville and Alice Jadin, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Melvin and Rose Gilson, one sister Delores (Jim) Baudhuin, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Arnold LaCrosse, Jim Blahnik, Gary (Patricia) Gilson and Martha Jadin; and Godson Rick LaCrosse .

Visitation will be held at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco, on Tuesday April 10, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m.  Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. with Deacon Bob Miller.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday April 11, 2018, at the funeral home from 8 to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. Milton Suess officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery, Tonet.  Online condolences may be shared on the tribute page.
