Arlin D. Monfils

Arlin D. Monfils, 81, Casco, WI. Passed away on March 24, 2025, in the loving care of his niece, Toni, at her home. Arlin was born on February 28, 1944, to the late William and Beulah (Bellin) Monfils in Casco where he grew up and graduated from Casco High School. Arlin spent his life as a dairy farmer having lived on the home farm for all 81 years of his life; in addition, he drove both milk and sand/gravel trucks.

Arlin served for 30 years on the Town of Lincoln Board and on the Luxemburg Fire and Resue Board. He devoted special attention to his heritage by sharing his knowledge of his Belgian forefathers through the Belgian Club. In his younger years, Arlin continued his passion for sports from his star football, track, and basketball years in high school by playing softball and bowling. He was an avid watcher of professional ballgames and NASCAR. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting, and he loved meeting the guys “at camp” in recent years. Anyone who knew Arlin would have to play cards with him, in which he had a special talent for remembering which cards were played – and winning!

Arlin is survived by his siblings, Darrell (Jane) Monfils and M. Jelain (Carlton) LeCaptain; nieces and nephews, Todd LeCaptain, Toni (Brian) Pichette, Tara (Joseph) Silbernagel, DJ Monfils; great nieces and nephews, Joshua (Brittany) Pichette, Paige Pichette, Clarissa LeCaptain, and Maxwell LeCaptain.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Casco. Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Bob Miller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Hubert Cemetery.
